Advocacy Tools to Turn Commitment into Action
In 2025, countries made a commitment to improving skin health by adopting the WHA Resolution on Skin Diseases. That commitment must now be matched by action — at national level and with civil society working together to keep decision-makers accountable.
To support these efforts, the World Skin Health Coalition has developed a range of tools, advocacy resources, and communication materials to help turn commitment into lasting change for people with skin diseases and conditions.
Advocacy toolkit
The Advocacy Toolkit provides guidance on how to engage with policymakers and what are the key policy asks. It also contains some interesting case studies that show implementation in practice.
This resource can also be used for reference or to guide internal training and discussions on policy engagement.

These documents summarise priority recommendations from the Resolution and messaging that can be used by each stakeholder group to support implementation. They can help you and your organisation to identify specific policy asks so that you can plan and develop your own advocacy and engagement materials.
